Boja

Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026Operator: woodada

Here's what information Boja handles.

At a glance

  • You don't need to sign in to answer a link you got. Just enter a name.
  • A Boja (name, candidate dates, answers) is deleted 90 days after its last candidate date. The days you settled on stay until you delete your account.
  • No ads and no tracking. Visits are counted anonymously, without cookies.
  • Anyone with the link can see the candidate dates and each person's name and answer for every date.

Boja and answers

  • When you start a Boja we store its name, candidate dates with time of day (daytime or evening), and how long it takes answers. We also store each person's name (their account name if signed in) and their answer for each date (works, maybe, can't).
  • Anyone with the link can open that Boja and see how each person answered each date. You decide who gets the link.
  • If you answer without signing in, we store a random-value cookie (boja-voter) in this browser for one year so you can change your answers later. The server keeps only a hash of it. The name you entered is also remembered in browser storage so we don't ask again.
  • A Boja is deleted, along with its dates and answers, 90 days after its last candidate date. The person who made it can delete it earlier at any time.
  • When a day is settled, the name of the get-together, the day, and the names of the people coming are saved to the accounts of the maker and of signed-in people who didn't answer can't for that day (days together). This record is deleted with the account.

Sign-in and account

  • You only need to sign in to start a Boja. Answering a link you got doesn't need an account.
  • Sign-in uses your Woodada account (Sign in with Google). We store your account name and email address, not your profile photo.
  • A session cookie (woodada.session_token) keeps you signed in for 30 days. Other services that use the Woodada account read the same cookie. We briefly count requests per IP address to limit abuse, but don't store that with your account.
  • If you delete your account on the account page, the Boja you made and your days together are deleted right away. Answers you left on other people's Boja stay only under the name you entered, detached from your account.

Website

  • No ads or tracking cookies. To see which pages get read, we count visits without cookies. IP addresses and browser details are not stored; visits are counted with an anonymous value that changes every day, so the same person is not recognised from one day to the next.
  • We store one cookie (woodada-locale) for a year to remember your language. Other services on woodada.app read it so they show the same language. Your theme choice (light or dark) is remembered in browser storage.
